Relentless snow in the UK. Flights cancelled, trips suspended... Despite all the love in the world, Loveland Farm was also affected as well. Call for the toboggans!

Sneak peek at A/W 11...

We are now in the process of working on Autumn/Winter 2011 and Jeff is out at the Italian factory right now. Although it seems like a long way off, we wanted to show a sneaky peek at what Jeff is working on. This jacket is of a Goretex-like high-end Italian cotton fabric, tailored together in a non-stitch way. We love it, but what do you think?

Full of Crap

Now it's safely after lunch, we thought we'd share a snap of the Land Rover filled with extra-ripe horse manure - the best that North Devon can offer. While it matures further for a couple days, we recall the drama that unfolded while collecting it.

A fateful reversal into a heap of dung meant the back wheels of the fully laden LR getting stuck, spraying everyone involved with the stuff. A further two hours spent digging finally dislodged the vehicle. Just another day in the country...
However, this jaunt hasn't dampened our spirits and our plans of growing our own mushrooms will soon be in action.


お昼ご飯の消化が終わったと思うので、先日撮ったスナップを載せます。肥料に使う馬のクソ。ノース・デボン最高質、栄養たっぷり！
自家飼育した豚のベーコンと取り替えに、近所の牧場を経営する知り合いからもらいました。積み終えたランドローバーは泥／糞にハマってしまい、二時間ほど身動きが取れない状態に。なんとか抜け出しましたが、泥遊びでもしてきたような姿に。のどかな田舎での一日なのでしょうか・・・？

ランドローバーに大量に積み、成熟するまで待ちます。これを使ってマッシュルームを栽培する企画です。

From Fashion to Fishing...

Between making his intricately Handmade leather belts and bracelets for our customers, Tomo, Head Designer of Physicist & Son can be spotted by the Tokyo shore - fishing. This morning we received an e-mail with pictures of his biggest flat fish catch to date and possibly his biggest smile! He's back to the shore today in hope of catching "the big one" and to be crowned the winner of the competition!
