Griffin Photoshoot in Devon.

So we have just returned from a 4 day photoshoot on the dramatic North Devon, Cornish coastline.. It is just incredible! l want to move there NOW!! Thank you to Donald Christie-photographer and good friend , Harris Elliott- Stylist- luggage design "H by Harris, Andrew Cotton- Professional Hardcore Surfer come model (is single), Aki film maker friend to the grim lover of life...Then there is the Griffin Crew, Karina, Nicole, Will, Ellie, Luke, Charlie, Elvis, Parka and Casper. Thanks everyone... And Nicole thank for the run to Exeter DHL for 9am to pick up the missing samples coming from our factory in Italy.. They looked incredible thank you Flavio, Claudio, Elisa and all the machinists... Jeff

The Charlie Hunter Collection - Day 10 - Vintage Combat Pant

These vintage combat trousers are so incredibly detailed, if you threw this seasons three key Griffin trousers styles into one this would be the outcome... Of course these came way before the Griffin label was conceived and are a great example of our military influences from the flap pockets on the hips - just like those featured on this seasons Kingstons, to the darted knees creating a silhouette similar to the Archbacks, through to the large patch pockets, the USMC pant's most distinctive feature. The contrasting waistband, adjustable waistband buckles as well as buttons in place for braces illustrate the versatility of this trouser.

The Charlie Hunter Collection - Day 8 - Belgian Military Breeches

These breeches date back to 1952 and would've been worn by a a member of the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Belgian Army. These khaki trousers are high waisted with button belt loops and buttons to attach braces to, they would most likely of been worn with brown shoes or riding boots. The label in the back waist suggests the uniform belonged to an officer from the West Flanders Province of Belgium.
