These vintage combat trousers are so incredibly detailed, if you threw this seasons three key Griffin trousers styles into one this would be the outcome... Of course these came way before the Griffin label was conceived and are a great example of our military influences from the flap pockets on the hips - just like those featured on this seasons Kingstons, to the darted knees creating a silhouette similar to the Archbacks, through to the large patch pockets, the USMC pant's most distinctive feature. The contrasting waistband, adjustable waistband buckles as well as buttons in place for braces illustrate the versatility of this trouser.

Charlie Hunter's collection Day one
Now Charlie was a PATTERN cutter and best friend who was always a deep thinker looking for new shapes, ideas and just strange ideas, loving research and reasons, ways to making for example a sleeve, why and how, with all of us bored with high street silhouettes.
Military has always a main inspiration for menswear so here are the first 2 garments out of the box.. Both in wool heavy and heavy in smell of mothballs... Perfect garments, fantastic shapes...
