A Focus on Innovation...

Griffin's approach to design has always been one of forward thinking, looking to the past to inspire the future. Taking vintage military garments and sportswear pieces designed to function, and mixing this with the latest innovative production methods available. For around four years we had been working on two pieces which were finally launched last season - the Softshell and Technical Bearskin, this Spring/Summer 11 collection pushes these new found technologies with a new capsule collection of garments now available across jackets, trousers and jersey pieces. The Technical Bearskin - NEW for SS11

Soon arriving in store is the new range of technical garments, each manufactured using the latest technology in garment production. Featured below is a piece from the new collection, the Technical Bearskin, launched last season the new design is now available to pre-order in Digi Camouflage and an all black option. The style evolved from the sleeping bag coat, a piece Griffin became famed for in the mid 90's, which late evolved into the Bearskin a coat that when opened up flat by unzipping the jacket cuff to hem zips, created the shape of a Bear's skin. This season's design still replicates this shape but installed are fully waterproof taped zips, the two way fastening allows the wearer to open up the jacket for more ventilation when necessary. The body panels have been bonded instead of stitched to give a sleek seam-free finish to the garment. The first delivery of the new collection has arrived at Loveland Farm. Now in stock are the new USMC Pant, the Thai Pant and Imber Jacket. There's also a selection of shorts including the new USMC Long Short - a slightly longer version of our best selling USMC Short available in Khaki and Sand, a great shape and length as the summer approaches.
